Did you know the difference between cold and hot rolled steel sheet piling is concentrated in the interlocks (clutches) and that both systems are made out of hot rolled steel, but cold rolled piling have a final treatment. With the production of cold rolled sheet piling, there is homogene deformation and this will increase strength in the structure of the material and thus in the result of the end product.
Europile's cold rolled steel sheet piles are produced in Germany and homogene
rolled on many different roll stations, whereby the quality of the end product
as well as the steel are guaranteed. There is a strict quality assurance system
which was developed 10 years ago in cooperation with the Dutch waterways authorities
and well known Dutch contractors.
The end product is checked according to a fixed scale of measurements and results and the internal tolerances are many times sharper than what the Euronorm EN 10249 prescribes. Research carried out by external and independant laboratories have qualified the homogene production process.
Also TNO (Dutch research lab.) has produced a report which speaks for itself about facts on cold and hot rolled sheet piles.
