This project is a piece of engineering
art. By choosing steel sheet piling instead of a concrete solution
the contractor has shown his skills, without compromising the high
demands of the client or the quality of the object on the long run.
The first in its kind and probably not the last considering the growth
of the fish population in national and international waters. The policy
of the Dutch Government and its border countries has a positive influence
on the results. To guarantee fish passing at all water levels we can
see here a good investment in the fish population. |
